Yes β€” as a registered Biokineticist with the HPCSA, I specialize in safe rehabilitation. However, if you are less than 6 weeks post-surgery or have not yet been cleared by your surgeon or physiotherapist, you will need medical clearance before starting.

Yes, if you have acute pain, swelling, unexplained symptoms, or have not yet had a medical assessment. Once cleared, you can safely continue rehab with me.

Most exercises can be done with bodyweight, resistance bands, and light weights. A mat and stable chair/bench are useful. If you have access to gym equipment, your program can be adapted.

Typically 2–4 sessions per week, 20–45 minutes each, depending on your stage of recovery and goals.

Prehab is for athletes and active individuals who want to prevent injuries, optimize performance, and build resilience. It’s also ideal if you have a history of injuries and want to avoid recurrence.
